THE 5 C’S: A SOCIAL STRATEGY GUIDE FOR 2019
Whether you are a new or existing brand, how do you create and distribute content that people ACTUALLY want to see? We use the term “brand” loosely. This applies to any influencer, model, or performer online. With so much noise out there it’s getting tougher to stand out, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. Here are 5 ways to make waves.
Content: When you’re starting out, put out as much content as you can to figure out what works and what doesn’t. That piece of content you think won’t work, may end up working the best. The market dictates it.
Community (Foster): Respond back to the people who care about the content you put out. Comment, DM, etc. to make people feel involved in your community.
Community (Grow): If you don’t have an audience or a strong community yet, find people who have similar communities to yours and provide value to their conversation. Leave funny or insightful comments to attract people from those communities.
Consistency: Get in the groove of posting consistently. It doesn’t have to be at the same time every day, just push yourself to get new content out and learn from your community’s feedback.
Collaboration: Find other brands who are in similar niches and instead of viewing them as your competition, figure out how you can help each other grow. Trade posts, tags, shoutouts, etc.
